During the Change-of-Coverage Period, if you’re an eligible student, you can change your coverage, enrol your spouse and/or dependent children, or opt out of the Plan through the online coverage manager.  If you are eligible, you can also enrol yourself here.

MPORTANT - FALL 2021 INSURER TRANSITION: The UTSU Plan insurer is changing from Desjardins Insurance to Green Shield Canada as of Sept. 1, 2021.

You can continue to use the Studentcare mobile app to submit claims to Desjardins Insurance (for services incurred on or before Aug. 31, 2021 only) until Nov. 29, 2021.

You cannot use the app to submit claims for services incurred after Aug. 31, 2021 to the new insurer, Green Shield Canada.
